New Opportunity School
for Women
Foundation

"NOSW gives women in Appalachia a crash course
 in self-esteem."
 Oprah Winfrey, 2003.

Watch this video featuring the New Opportunity School for Women, Berea, Kentucky, and Founder Jane Stephenson on Oprah.  There are currenlty three  New Opportunity School for Women program locations. Each of which provides three-week residential programs free to each participant and welcomes applications from Appalachian women living in all regions of Central Appalachia, particularly Kentucky, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and Ohio.  The New Opportunity School for Women Foundation needs your support to sustain and grow the NOSW family of programs.
